Breeder of Top Quality Standard Poodles and Standard Poodle Puppies for Family Pets, Dog Sports, and Conformation.   Located in southeastern Wisconsin just north of Milwaukee in the Town of Saukville on a small wildlife lake, Daly Lake. With prairie, woods, and water to explore, it is nearly Poodle paradise.  For you international Poodle lovers, Milwaukee is about 80 miles north of Chicago, Illinois. Our Poodles are our pets first, living in the house with us. The puppies are whelped and raised in the "Poodle Parlor" which is right next to our kitchen. We love Poodles for their active and energetic personalities. All of our Poodle Puppies can be expected to grow up to excel at any and all performance venues. We try to have a litter once per year.

Socializtion of puppies is a key to a life long happy temperament. According to the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB), the Primary and most important time for puppy socialization is the first three months of life. From the time the puppies are born, they are handled daily plus Bio-sensor program is started. Once their eyes and ears open, Gladystar Poodle puppies begin experiencing life to its fullest. There's no holding back, puppies climb on, over, in, multiple and different objects. They see, hear, smell, and feel many different surfaces, places, sounds, and odors.

Healthy Standard Poodles starts with health screening and DNA testing after thorough pedigree research. Gladystar Poodles that are used for breeding all have Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) numbers. That means the breeder has met the minimum health testing requirements as put forth by the AKC parent club, Poodle Club of America for Poodles, AND has checked a box on the form before administering the test that the results will be known publicly by publishing the informaion on the OFA website wether it is normal or not.
